WHY DON'T BE A BLOGZINISM by Dr. C. JAYA SANKAR BABU

'BLOGZINISM' is the word I would like to coin for the activities which are being carried out these days to express the ideology, emotion, response, thinking etc in the the world wide web. 'BLOGGING' word is already there for expressing this activity, then why this new word!? Yes, I have the answer for this. 'JOURNALISM' is the word existing in use for the activity of conducting news medium which includes formal editing, writing, publishing, broadcasting, telecasting etc. Now in the age of technological revolution the new emerged media is blogging. Journalism is being treated or considered as the 'fourth estate' of the realm. Then what is the positing of blogging? Millions of devoted and self-controlled bloggers are contributing millions pages to the web day and night. Out of this, much is being produced faster and genuine than the journalism. What shall be the relevance of this blogging activity to the present and future generations? What shape it shall take in future? What will be the position of the print and TV journalism ? All these question are arising in the present scenario. Blogging Vs Journalism is also very hot in the discussions here and there these days. In such case, BLOGGING is the word which gives a limited meaning and parallel to the JOURNALISM, there should be a word which should be able to clearly define this new area of activity. Hence, I coined the word BLOGZINISM. I invite any other world which would much suitable than this. My aim of coining this word is neither to impose, nor to claim or spread this as a genuine expression for the blogging activities. Just to start a open discussion on the present and past of the blogging and it trends, its effects on the society etc questing arising in my mind as well as many thinkers. We shall discuss the pros and cons of blogzinism. I take this opportunity to invite enthusiast to this forum for discussions. Most welcome for your kind responses.
